Research & Bd Team Member for Ind 4.0 & Machine

**Your mission**:
As a member of the Research and Business Development team, you will support the strategic direction in the field of Industry 4.0 & Machine Learning to achieve CSEM’s mission and strategy. This includes strategic project acquisition, offer preparation and contributing to the technology roadmap. Your excellent knowledge in Industry 4.0 & Machine Learning allows research to move forward and build game-changing technology platforms that support CSEM's mission to boost innovation in industry. You contribute to the Business-Unit's and corporate opportunities pipeline in evaluating market opportunities, prospecting, negotiating, writing, and finalizing contracts, while maintaining trustful relationships with our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Business Development: You contribute and support projects acquisition in Industry 4.0 & Machine Learning - this includes the process from first client contact, feasibility study to resources, risks and budget clarifications. Main task will be to prepare and write offers including all details together with the customer and our technical experts. As an ambassador, you constantly build new relationships with industrial partners and academic institutions both in Switzerland and worldwide in order to capitalize on it to build new collaborations and business.
- Research & Projects: You contribute to the technology platforms and requirements for Industry 4.0 & Machine Learning. To support the strategic research activities, you enable the interaction with the relevant technology partners within CSEM and the industry. With your excellent skills in Industry 4.0 & Machine Learning, you support strategic projects.

**Your profile**:
Know-how
- Bachelor or Master’s degree related to Industry 4.0 & Machine Learning and at least 2 years of industrial experience
- Education in business administration, marketing, or innovation management is a plus.
- Domain expertise in Automation, Robotics, and Deep Learning
- Experience in bussiness development, project acquisition and writing of project proposals or offers
- Proficiency with customer relations management and social media channels
- Customer and result oriented with the capacity to transform opportunities into business

Interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills in all market segments and with different job levels
- Inspiring and motivating personality with excellent listening skills and role model profile that contribute to a positive team spirit
- Strong analytical skills, coupled with the ability to influence and negotiate, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external partners
- Fluency in German and English is a must, fluency in French is desired
