**Demand and Supply Planner**:
Medacta International is searching for a Demand and Supply Planner.

The Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of finished and semi-finished products within the supply chain to meet customer requirements.

Ensures continuous supply at the right inventory levels in order to achieve targeted customer service level;
Communicates efficiently with production and purchasing dept. in case of supply disruptions;
Ensures the consolidation, validation and submission of supply forecast to the suppliers and to internal manufacturing;
Countermeasures on backorders and coordinates supply recovery;
Interacts with Marketing and Sales to manage the product life cycle including key events and new product innovation;
Leads and/or supports trouble-shooting and problem resolution for planning issues impacting service.

**The resource should also have the following skills**:
Hard Skills
Bachelor's Degree in management engineering/ Logistics/Supply Chain;
Fluent in english;
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position within a manufacturing organisation. Experience in a pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing company preferred;
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint);
Working knowledge of MRP and Navision or similar ERP experience;
Soft Skills
Ability to work in a team;
Good communication skills;
Customer focus and flexibility;
Solid analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
