Regional Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join IPAF to act as our country lead for Switzerland.

You will be based in Switzerland but work remotely and report into the Head of Regional Development.

As the Regional Manager you will promote safety in work at height and use of powered access and be the key point of contact to manage our existing members as well as building our membership base in country.

In this role you, will be totally autonomous and given the flexibility to manage your workload and diary to work most effectively for IPAF and its members. Whilst the IPAF Swiss office is in Basel, we are flexible if you prefer to be home based. The position is available on a full time employed basis although we will consider part time if you prefer (80% - 100%).

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Management of institutional relations and contacts in the country
- Build relationships with members and other stakeholders
- Visits to members and other stakeholders
- Participation in technical committees for the development of relevant industry standards
- Recruitment of new members and new training centres
- Organization of commercial and promotional activities, such as exhibitions and events
- Promotion of safety in work at height and use of powered access (MEWP and MCWP)
- Representation of the federation in conferences and congresses.
- government and industry organizations
- Promotion of IPAF training courses, within the industry of mobile elevating work platforms and mast climbing work platforms
- Supervision of marketing activities in collaboration with IPAF's marketing department

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable experience in management or sales positions in the machinery, training or health and safety sector
- Availability to travel in Switzerland and abroad (approximately 25% of the time)
- Training in Health and Safety
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to speak in public, as well as high negotiation and decision-making skills, and high attention to detail.
- Excellent skills in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Availability to work remotely
- Languages: German Native, English C1, French C1

In return for your hard work, we will offer you a position with competitive pay rates, plus commission and annual bonus.

All expenses (Telephone, Internet, car expenses etc) will be reimbursed on a monthly basis.
