**In more details, you will**
- Accountable for driving overall performance and delivery of on time services for the global department.
- Accountable for the global technical and administrative management of the assigned service discipline and/or team function.
- Responsible for providing global leadership in developing Labcorp’s capabilities with various lab technologies, general lab support activities, test code and analysis creation, and expanded esoteric testing solutions
- Develops and enhances Testing Enablement team’s capabilities in the relevant service, organizational, or geographic space.
- Accountable for supporting business development activities.
- Accountable for the quality performance of all global services associated with assigned area(s).
- Accountable for global delivery as pertaining to regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for meeting established quality measures and on time responses to quality issues (CAPA, QE etc.).
- Responsible for ensuring internal/external client satisfaction and/or remediation.
- Collaborates with the VP Global Testing Services, in the strategic planning and management of the global laboratory network.
- Fully understand department technical capabilities and ensure appropriate resource and capacity planning that enable successful client delivery.
- Develops and manages global department budgets, global technology plans and global operational plans necessary to execute the strategic plan for the department.
- Participates in global capital project planning to enhance the delivery of services.
- Participate in assessment, viability considerations, and delivery of new services offerings as identified by the New Test Feasibility and NSSO processes.
- Provide consultative support to the Sales and Marketing department as needed and to ensure Testing Enablement team has capability to deliver on services sold.
- Participate in client visits, audits, and delivers on time responses to enquiries and audit findings.
- Provides technical consults, as needed, for both internal and external clients.
- Supports Six Sigma and other process improvement initiatives.Ensures resources are sufficient to meet established performance and quality goals.
- Evaluates processes to detect adverse trends; provides corrective measures as needed.
- Ensures global regulatory compliance.
- Ensures the timely and efficient scheduling and execution of all global support activities essential to the operation of the department.
- Facilities communications as needed between Testing Enablement and counterparts at other sites, and with other functional areas within R&D Labs and beyond.
**What we’re looking for**:
The Global Director Testing Enablement are the most successful at Labcorp with:
- 7 years management experience, preferably globally and in a laboratory/pharma/scientific environment.
- Extensive knowledge of, or experience in laboratory operations
- Requires BS degree in a related area of study.
- Prefer Master’s degree in a business discipline or business administration.
- Fluent in English; Command of French is a plus.
- Computer literate.
