**Your role and responsibilities**:
As Motion Data Manager Lead, you are responsible for acting as the first point of contact and escalations for all master data and data related requests in Business Areas. Your main focus is on product and material data domain content, but also on the other data domains. Together with Data and Analytics lead, Business Process Owners, IS and Business Management you ensure that the vision and strategy for Data supports the Business Goals and Business strategy and is based on business needs and ABB Master Data standards. You help in the implementation of existing and new data demands and monitor the compliance by ensuring that relevant set of instructions, standards and rules are established to regulate the management of data within the Business. With this role your main responsibilities will be the following: Represent the global Business Area in the ABB Business Data Management Board (Global Master Data Team) to ensure that global data demands, strategies and priorities align with Business Area strategy. Maintain close coordination with business functions to ensure master data strategies and priorities align with their respective business strategy. Act as first point of contact for all Master Data and data related requests within Motion. The main focus is on product and material data and customer and vendor data domains. Operate with a prime focus on Product and Materials (P&M) domain, but also responsible to cover the other Data Domains. Operative responsibility to coordinate and collaborate with Business Process Owners, IS and Business Management to ensure that the data domain area is organized, staffed and skilled to ensure high quality in data creation, maintenance, and other operational processes. Ensure that relevant sets of instructions, standards and rules are established to regulate the management of data and that given processes and metrics for data are followed within Motion. Ensure the implementation of new ABB Data standards within own Business Area and monitors the compliance of data standards and rules. Ensure that Data Completeness, Compliancy, Consistency and Correctness is measured and meets the targets of defined KPI’s and together with Process Owners ensure data coverage in business processes is on high level. Ensure that different analytics needs are align with data standards and principles. Represent Motion Business in the ABB Business Data Management Board (Global Master Data Team for approving new standards, setting project and implementation strategies, monitoring the progress and handling issue escalations. Responsible to manage and govern the data meetings within data users and other stakeholders. Ensure together with Business Process Owners, IS and Business Management to ensure that the data domain area is organized, staffed and skilled. Guides and motivates users working with data topics in Motion to achieve the high data quality.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related fields
- 12+ year of Experience in Master Data / SAP -Master Data management or equivalent field
- Experience in Financial Processes where Master Data is actively used or equivalent
- Strong listening, critical thinking and teamwork skills
- Ability to multi-tasking and keep holistic picture and end to end processes in mind
- Feels comfortable in independent management role
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive mindset and high competency to trouble shoot and solve problems.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
