Verity is seeking a Senior Hardware/Electronics Engineer to join its growing team and to contribute to the electronics development of its UAV and control platforms.

**What you'll do**

**Managerial Responsibilities**
- Electrical team lead
- Develop and enforce design rules and guidelines
- Mentor junior electrical engineers

**Position Specific Responsibilities**
- Plan, develop, review and approve electronic systems, including component selection, schematic and layout
- Develop, improve and maintain design processes and guidelines like Design for Reliability and Manufacturing tools: tolerance analysis, stress analysis, FMEA, DfT, DfM
- Verify electronic assemblies meet all specifications for performance and compliance
- Closely collaborate with system, embedded and mechanical engineers, as well as product management and production to determine requirements and specifications
- Drive industrialization and support product lifecycle management incl. production and field issue analysis and resolution

**What you bring**
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of hands-on experience in industry
- Extensive experience in analog and digital circuit design and PCB layout from concept to production release, preferably with Altium Designer
- Proficiency with simulation tools, e.g. SPICE
- Experience with high-speed digital design, ideally with simulation tools e.g. Hyperlinx
- Experience in the EMC / radio certification process and product safety certification, for example IEC 62368-1 or IEC 60950-1 (or more strict: medical, aerospace, etc.)
- Programming skills a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
