**Help Akamai expand our market reach.**
You'll be responsible for selling Akamai solutions to new customers across Switzerland & Austria. Working with marketing on demand generation, you'll be working lock step with your Solutions Engineer to deal closure. You'll be supported by cross-functional internal teams, from product specialists, partner managers & marketing all chartered with the same goal. To drive faster new customer acquisition in the Region.
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Account Planning & execution against your Target Account List.
- Demonstrating your hunting strategy through adopting a 'right solution, right time' approach, meeting your target customers' needs.
- Collaborating with Sales Specialists, Marketing & Channel Teams on your Hunting Strategy.
- Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting.
- Working with integrated cross-functional teams, ensuring your customers realise the Value of their Akamai services during onboarding.
**Do what you love**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions to enterprise class companies.
- Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning, selling value at C-Level.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cybersecurity.
- Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills with fluency in Swiss/German and English.
