Robotic & Mechatronic Intern

We are looking for a motivated **Robotics & mechatronic Intern** to support our automation and mechatronic development tasks. This position is based in Basel, Switzerland, within an English-speaking environment.

**What You’ll Do**
As an intern, you will actively contribute to our automation and robotics tasks. Your daily job will include:

- Assisting in the design, development, and testing of robotic and mechatronic automation solutions
- Writing and optimizing scripts and control algorithms for automation workflows
- Supporting the integration of robotic systems into production environments
- Designing and prototyping mechanical and electronic components for automation solutions
- Assisting with sensor integration, motion control, and vision systems
- Identifying and implementing efficiency and reliability improvements

**Skills & Experience That Matter**
(Not all are required, but the more, the better)
- Experience with robotic systems (e.g., robotic arms, mobile robots, or industrial automation)
- Knowledge of electronic components (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, stepper motors, servos, actuators, sensors)
- Familiarity with mechatronic design (CAD design, 3D printing, prototyping)
- Comfortable using Linux (beyond just Windows, bonus points if you’ve built your own computer)
- Experience with control systems, PLC programming, or embedded systems
- Familiarity with industrial automation protocols (Modbus, CAN, OPC-UA)
