Global Product Manager Development Dental Implant

**Job Purpose**
The role holder is responsible to drive product innovation from conception to launch as part of our Global Product Management (Straumann Dental Implant Systems) SDIS team. The overall goal is to ensure the development of new products that will fuel Straumann portfolio of solutions, to increase the addressable market and gain market shares. Focused on the need of the customers, the initial attention will be put on the prosthetic innovation. This role requires a thorough understanding of the customer’s workflows, to identify their needs and translate them into new products. The capability to break down complex challenges into executive steps, collaborate in a matrix environment and motivate and engage stakeholders will support us in reaching our ambitious targets.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Genuine interest to identify and understand the customers’ need related to products and workflows
- Ability to transform customer needs into product / workflow requirements and feed them into new product development
- Champion the development and launch process to ensure quality and on time product delivery for launch
- Define the product features and benefits as foundation for the creation of the marketing materials
- Support the Medical Marketing Plan, drive pre-clinical and clinical study planning and track progress
- Establish and maintain network of close clinicians for the development of new products, and involve them in the market acceptance testing phase.
- Lead multi-functional teams within the matrix environment for specific project’s work packages.
- Plan and support product launch in collaboration with the Lifecycle Product Manager
- Implement technical customer and field service training in cooperation with other internal departments.

**Profile**:

- Master degree / academic degree in life sciences, technical, business administration or equivalent experience,
- Min. 3+ years’ experience in product management or related functions, additional sales and marketing experience is of advantage
- Experience with medical devices is required, experience from the dental industry and understanding of customer workflows within implant rehabilitations is a strong plus
- Self-aware, eager to learn and continuously improve, and with good communication and presentation skills
- Open minded and proactive personality with the ability to establish effective working relationship with customers and internally, across departments and hierarchical levels within the matrix organization
- Record of success operating in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Embrace and live Straumann culture.
- Proficiency in English; other languages advantageous
