**Position Summary**

We are looking for a **medical doctor**to support our in-house clinical studies. You will act as a principal Investigator, coordinating clinical research projects under the Swiss jurisdiction and closely collaborating with other groups and clinical research units.

Nestlé Research is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, employs approximately 1000 people and is comprised of five Nestlé Institutes: Food Sciences, Health Sciences, Food Safety & Analytical Sciences, Packaging Sciences, and Agricultural Sciences. **A Day in the Life of a Principal Investigator physician**
- Be responsible for the execution of our clinical studies according to the study protocols local regulations and GCP guidelines
- Be responsible for all trial-related medical decisions
- Evaluate study volunteer’s eligibility for clinical trials
- Perform physical exams and assessments as required per research protocols
- Supervise any individual or team member to whom the Principal Investigator has delegated any trial-related duties and functions.
- Complete all industry-required training
- Review all diagnostic reports and provide clinical direction to the study team
- Ensure safety monitoring and quality in clinical execution for in-house studies

**What will make you successful**
- Medical Degree with either a Swiss diploma in medicine or a foreign diploma in medicine recognized in Switzerland
- Experience as Principal Investigator in clinical research
- Deep knowledge in clinical research, preferably in nutrition
- Strong knowledge of legal and data protection matters in regards to clinical trials
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of GCP, clinical regulatory, and ethical environment
- Able to speak English Fluently, good level of French desirable
