**Culinary Director - Specialized in Mexican Cuisine**

We are a renowned Mexican restaurant in Zürich, seeking an exceptional **Culinary Director** to lead our culinary vision and elevate our authentic Mexican dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Design and execute an innovative, authentic Mexican menu showcasing traditional and contemporary culinary techniques.

Train and mentor the kitchen team on specialized Mexican cooking methods, such as nixtamalization, mole preparation, and traditional fire-cooking techniques.

Oversee and train the kitchen team to master complex Mexican recipes, ingredients, and presentation.

Act as a cultural ambassador for the restaurant, sharing deep knowledge of Mexican history, traditions, and gastronomy with both the team and the public.

Ensure the highest standards of quality, flavor, and cultural authenticity.

Collaborate on restaurant growth strategies, including consulting on new openings and expanding culinary operations.

**Qualifications**:
A native Mexican culinary expert with comprehensive knowledge of regional Mexican cuisines.

Formal training in an accredited culinary institution, specializing in Mexican gastronomy.

A proven track record, including at least 5 years in leading Mexican kitchens, preferably with consulting or international experience and preferably in award-winning or renowned establishment.

Familiarity with sourcing and utilizing traditional Mexican ingredients in an international context.

Strong leadership skills with a passion for cultural storytelling through food.

Has lived and worked in Mexico for extended periods.

Speaks fluent Spanish, including Mexican colloquialisms and advanced English.
