Retail Designer

**In short**:
As retail designer you will support your colleagues and external partners with their retail store plannings, by providing templates and guidance on the On retail concept as well as designing initial store layouts for franchise partners. Your ability to translate architectural design strategies and concepts into guiding drawing sets, supports the company in the mission of upscaling Ons retail business in a uniform and efficient way. You will work in a creative, international team of retail architects and designers with a close connection to visual merchandisers, tool & campaign designers as well as retail operation managers. **Your Mission**:

- Support the management and completion of retail design initiatives and projects that support team goals each year to elevate the retail environment for On
- Creation of detailed architectural template drawings to ensure uniform store planning and execution strategies
- Briefing of internal and external stakeholders on the retail design standards and guidance during the store design process
- Maintenance and enhancement of concept libraries including material samples, technical fixtures drawings, layout and photo databases of former executions
- Deliver a conceptual design and zoning layout as a starting point of franchise store projects
- Initial alignment of franchise store layouts with internal cross-functional teams such as Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, Campaign and Storytelling experts
- Providing design guidance and support to franchise partners and external architects during the further store planning process

**Your story**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience, within the Retail Industry is a plus
- Experience in working with AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, V-Ray (or similar 3D Rendering softwares), Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop
- Passion for creating tools and architectural templates to help transfer theoretical principles into action
- Detail oriented as well as strategic and innovative thinking, ability to connect design strategy with operational business needs
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners stakeholders at all levels
- Business proficiency in English, further languages are a plus
