We are looking for a dedicated Consultant to strengthen our advisory services in the European market with a focus on German-speaking countries and the Middle East. As a Consultant you will support our corporate clients in improving their sustainability performance along the value chain. In our cross-national team (Germany, Switzerland, UK) you will work on various consulting projects, from drafting to implementation and presentation of results.

At LRQA you provide targeted advice to our clients and work with them on a daily base. You will be part of the LRQA global Advisory team and you will report into LRQA Advisory Europe and Middle East.

**Responsibilities**
- Project delivery:

- Support senior staff and take responsibility for key milestones in the delivery of consulting engagements in ESG strategy and supply chain consulting- Use of expertise in environmental or human rights risk and impact analyses, supplier assessments or optimization of sustainability strategies
- Support materiality assessments, workshops and developing strategies and guidelines- Support reporting projects that comply with current standards and frameworks (such as CSRD/EFRS, GRI, SASB, TCFD, SBTI, CDP, ESG ratings, EU Taxonomy, Human Rights or supply chain Disclosure, etc.)
- Business Development: support the expansion of LRQA's presence in the EMEA market by supporting proposal and acquisition processes and delivering presentations and trainings.
- Product and service development: support on standardization and development of LRQA products across the sustainability and supply chain services, through innovating and enhancing existing products, processes and ways of working to accelerate efficiencies, effectiveness and delivering positive impact projects

**Requirements and Qualifications**- entrepreneurial consultant with 2-3 years of proven experience in sustainability communications, sustainability strategy, corporate development, reporting, ESG-focused investor relations, or similar- expertise in ratings, standards, and regulatory frameworks (such as HREDD legislation, ESG ratings, EU taxonomy, TCFD, SBTi, CDP, GRI, SASB, CSRD/ESRS, etc.) is a plus- efficient project and time management- excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills and experience in leading effective workshops- ability to work in a team and enthusiasm for mutual success- quick perception and independent working style- enjoy virtual work - 1:1, in a team and across different time zones - with a strong ability to self-manage- ability to respond positively to deadlines and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, and changing work environment
- atrong information and data processing skills, the ability to adopt multiple approaches to reasoning, analytical and synthetic thinking, critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail, and conceptual and systems thinking.- professional communication in German, English and ideally in French, Arabic or another EMEA language
