Manager Supply Integration

Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson MedTech company is looking for a Supply Integration Manager, to join the Global External Operations team. Your scope: ~ 5 Ethicon Wound Closure EM partners located in multiple regions, in support of approximately $40 to $50MM in spend for Johnson & Johnson.

This individual will act as a Virtual Plant Manager, leading a multi-functional team that is accountable for the operational performance at assigned partners.

They will provide global and regional leadership for delivering end-to-end operational performance while maintaining key relationships with cross-functional leaders, both within Ethicon and at the external manufacturing partners.

**The responsibilities & impact YOU will have**:

- Own relationship with suppliers and be accountable for their performance: lead or participate in regular reviews (S&OP, Capacity, Planning, Quality, etc.), support some aspects of product tech transfers, engage suppliers in lean process improvements and leading operations as the virtual GM of the supplier sites.
- You will develop operational plans (incl. budgets, capacity, volume planning, etc.) with EM sites; ensure alignment on outcomes with key internal partners.
- Lead and implement cost initiatives while developing mutually beneficial solutions with suppliers.
- Proactively handle change and mitigate risks for suppliers and for the SC team
- Partner with supplier SC leadership to assure alignment of J&J’s objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation, and cost
- Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout J&J that result in the development of efficient approaches and solutions

**Qualifications**

**We would love to hear from YOU, if you have the following**:

- Broad-based understanding of business operations (planning and operations experience) and at least 3 years of meaningful experience in supplier management or externally facing supply-chain roles (Plan, Supplier Quality, Technical Operations, Procurement)
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and teamwork skills are required
- Consistent record of using judgment and critical thinking in developing innovative ways and resolving issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to confidently present sophisticated information

**Other valuable experiences**:

- Experience working in either Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices industries
- Education - Supply Chain, Engineering or Business degree; Master's degree (i.e., MBA) advantageous.
- Strong level of proficiency with core Manufacturing and/ or Procurement skills (e.g., Supply market understanding, LEAN Manufacturing, Negotiation, etc.)
- Ability to set priorities and prioritize requests
- Track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment, while ensuring the organization is able to efficiently move through transitions
