**Role Overview**:
Joining **Nexoom** as our **Community Manager (Product)** means you must know everything about social media platforms and how to engage with people.

You must be a proficient English speaker and have experience in the live streaming or gaming industry. You should also be truly knowledgeable and passionate about these fields.

You will work closely with all members of the Marketing team and report to the Product Lead.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Developing Community Strategy**: Creating and implementing a strategy for developing and growing the community for ection. This involves setting clear objectives, understanding the target audience, and determining the best platforms and communication methods to engage them.
- ** Managing Social Media Channels**:Overseeing the organisation's presence on social media platforms. This includes content creation, scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with the community in a meaningful way.
- ** Platform Management**:Sound knowledge of X, Meta, Discord, LinkedIn, Instagram and Tiktok.
- ** Staying Informed**:Keeping up to date with industry trends, community management best practices, and emerging social media platforms or tools. Continuously staying ahead of the game and proposing innovative ideas and formats to grow our social channels YoY.
- ** Moderating Discussions**:Monitoring and moderating community conversations to ensure they are constructive, respectful, and in line with community guidelines. This may involve managing forums, social media groups, or comment sections.
- ** Content Strategy**:Focusing on and coordinating the creation of engaging content that resonates with the community. This will involve writing social posts, crafting newsletters, posting website content and any other type of content the design team produces.
- ** Feedback Collection and Analysis**:Gathering and analysing user feedback to gain insights into their needs, preferences, and trends. Use this information to improve our products, services, and/or strategies.
- ** Event Planning and Execution**:Organising and hosting online or offline events such as webinars, meetups, or Q&A sessions to engage and bring the community together.
- ** Crisis Management**: Swiftly and diplomatically handling community-related crises or conflicts. This includes managing negative feedback, resolving disputes, and maintaining a positive environment.
- ** Brand Advocacy**:Acting as a brand ambassador, promoting the organization's values, and fostering a positive image among the community.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Prior experience in community management, social media management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the live streaming or gaming space, and a digital product would be a huge plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field would be ideal.
- Portfolio of Work: Evidence of successful community engagement initiatives, such as growing a social media following or managing an active online forum. Any success stories or proof of work is appreciated.
- High proficiency in English is a must. Fluent Spanish is a plus.

**Technical and Professional Skills**:

- Proficient in using various social media platforms and understanding their unique dynamics and algorithms (Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Tiktok).
- Ability to create engaging and relevant content, including written posts, images, and videos.
- Skills in analysing community metrics and insights to guide strategy and measure success.
- Understanding of basic SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
- Use of Hubspot CRM and integration with social media campaigns is a massive plus.
- Any knowledge and experience in design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva) would also be an asset.
