Director Physicochemical Analytics

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Director Physiochemical Analytics to join a brilliant healthcare establishment on a permanent basis located in Eysins. Our client is focused on supplying necessary medicines and medical technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For this role, you will form and uphold scientific brilliance, technical knowledge and data veracity in accountability field.
- Guarantee assistance of regulatory function through the participation of regulatory interaction and documents such as IND, IMPD, CTAs, proposals, throughout the development and commercial phase.
- Might serve as a member of the biosimilars CMC team.
- Responsible for the international method of physicochemical analytics and formulation development for biosimilar entities from project start-up to product commercialisation.
- Continue alongside new developments in the biosimilar field and form a solid reputation within the organisation society.
- Any other assigned duties.

**Requirements**:

- Educated to an advanced degree level in a biochemistry or similar discipline.
- Fluency in the English language with knowledge in another language such as French would be advantageous.
- At least 10 years of experience with management responsibilities in R&D within a biopharma establishment ideally handling biosimilars.
- Familiarity with people management.
- Acquaintance with analytical sciences applied to proteins / mAbs.
- Prior involvement with ground-breaking biochemical and biophysical analytical strategies to determine primary, secondary and tertiary structure, purity/impurity, glycosylation, post-translational modifications, process-related contaminants, compendial testing and to assist in the formulation development.
- Comprehension of cross-functional CMC development of biotherapeutics.
- Ability to successfully engage with health authorities within highly regulated markets.
- Capable of successfully working within an international matrix corporation with the full breadth of partaking in drug development.
- Former involvement with Physchem analytics through product development life cycle from clone development to QC release and commercial supply.
