Field Service Technician

**Mikron Machining **is the leading supplier of customized and highly productive machining systems for the manufacturing of complex high-precision components made of metal.

We are expanding our team We are currently looking for a **Field Service Technician **to join our **global service department**. After a training of at least 1 year, the employee will be relocated to our American subsidiary, based in **Monroe (USA)**.

**Your main tasks**:

- Manage on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Support and perform installation, debugging and final test runs at customer site of machines coming from Europe
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes
- Operate machines safely
- Follow all company’s procedures and protocols

Cooperate with sales and technical team and share information across the organization
- Repair and perform maintenance at the customer
- Perform installation and debugging of machine modification and retool project on the machine at the customer site
- Perform machine preventive maintenance service and training at the customer
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations such training, repair and spare parts needs

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate during the different phases of machine building at the factory in Europe including pre-assembly, assembly, debugging and test run
- Disassembly, analyze and repair machine spindle and fixture chuck at Mikron
- Promote sales of various service products
- Build positive relationships with customers

**Your profile**:

- CNC competences
- Proven field service experience
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Technical studies and degree
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Availability to travel up to 50%
