Commodity Manager

We are seeking a Commodity Manager with experience working plastics, mechanical and electronic assemblies for a position in Fribourg.

**Position Preview**:

- Main Responsibilities: Commodity Management, Supplier Management, Target Costing
- Main Requirements: Commodity Management, Plastics, Mechanical and Electronic assemblies
- Location: Fribourg
- Start Date: ASAP

Main Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the strategic procurement of Accessories and 3rd Party Finished Products
- Responsibility for product launches across the company
- Develop suppliers to manufacture high complex electronic products, components and motivate suppliers to further develop full new manufacturing processes
- Focus on technical materials and services,
- Fulfilment of the company’s quantities needs
- Enable the best leverage possibilities for procurement by optimising the supply process-oriented set-up,
- Ensure stability and competitiveness of the supplier base,
- Actively participate with R&D in product development projects,
- Ensure implementation of material and supplier strategies in product development,
- CAPEX / Investments Purchases
- ISO 14001 environment management maintaining tasks

**Main Requirements**:

- Technical education with further business education.
- Min. 10 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in plastics, mechanical and electronic assemblies
- In-depth knowledge of process and project management
- Analytical skills as well as structured and problem-solving skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and independent personality with decision-making willingness
- Very good MS Office, SAP
