**What**You’ll Be Doing**:
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Learn Underwriting Fundamentals: Gain an understanding of the underwriting process by assisting with tasks aligned to the business plan and your authority level.
- Start developing relationships with brokers and clients, learning effective communication and networking skills.
- Assist in Risk Assessment: Support the team in the design and evaluation of insurance risks, gaining insights into how risks are structured.
- Understand Risk Pricing: Learn how to calculate risk premiums by considering various factors, including costs associated with financial lines and the importance of profitability.
- Provide Client Support: Assist in responding to client inquiries and help ensure their insurance and risk management needs are met, fostering a client-first mindset.
- Observe and assist in relationship management activities, learning how to identify opportunities for cross-selling and maintaining client accounts.
- Help ensure that new and renewed accounts are set up in a timely manner, learning about quality standards in the process.
- Assist in basic data gathering for business planning and monitoring processes, understanding how financial exposure is managed.
- Work alongside underwriters and other team members, gaining experience in a collaborative environment while contributing to team projects.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of Insurance & Risk, Economics, Business Administration or Finance
- Very strong interest and motivation in developing a career in the insurance industry
- A positive analytical mindset with a solution orientated hands-on approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, accompanied by a strong cultural awareness
