We are looking for a** Smart Factory Solution Architect** to expand our **Manufacturing & Product Lifecycle Applications team**. Our team is crafting a **cutting-edge manufacturing platform** that will revolutionize our factories around the globe, leveraging **state-of-the-art technology** to redefine the industry.

**Your Role: A Catalyst for Change**

As a **Smart Factory Solution Architect**, you will play a pivotal role at the forefront of Straumann's digital transformation journey, enhancing our manufacturing sites with an **IIoT platform** that bridges the gap to **Industry 4.0**

**What You’ll Achieve**:

- ** Innovate and Inspire**: Contribute your ideas to enhance our platform while continuously developing your skills and exploring new technologies.
- ** Create and Prototype**: Transform concepts into rapid prototypes that are not only shippable but also refined through real-world feedback.
- ** Collaborate and Guide**: Work with diverse project teams to understand data requirements, providing insights on data structure, availability, and usage.
- ** Document and Specify**: Develop comprehensive documentation and specifications for systems and components, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
- ** Maintain and Review**: Ensure the ongoing maintenance and optimization of systems, working closely with team members, externals and stakeholders to address issues, implement improvements and perform testing/code review, to ensure the quality delivered products.

**Your Skills**:

- ** Experience**:

- 5+ years collaborating effectively with project teams.
- **SCRUM** methodology
- Working previously in manufacturing area is a plus
- ** Technical Proficiency**:

- Databases, Scripting (JS, Python) and web languages
- Event-Driven technology (MQTT, Kafka) and API interfaces
- DevOps CI/CD practices
- Container orchestration, Cloud Environments
- IoT/IIoT & Industry 4.0 Concept
- ** Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into innovative technical solutions.

**Your Profile**:

- ** Fluent in English** (spoken & written), Germain is a plus.
- ** Open, proactive, and communicative** - a team player.
- ** Curious and self-motivated**, with a passion for continuous learning and growth.
