**About the Role**:
**Your main responsibilities**:

- Negotiate business requirements with group accounting partners and ensure they are provided timely and with sufficient detail
- Work closely with product management to create, prioritize and communicate product roadmaps and backlog items for the squad using iterative techniques with feedback loops
- Create transparency of the backlog within the squad and with partners
- Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are understood and focused on by the team
- Ensure with scrum master that the team always has an adequate amount of prepared tasks to work on
- Support the squad in clarifying scope, by providing them with clear guidance on timelines and acceptance criteria
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of user stories as prioritized in the backlog
- Support the development of automated unit test cases and the end-to-end integration testing of FPSL
- Collaborate closely with other squads to develop multi-functional solutions or support problem resolution

**About the Team**:
As part of the programme you will have the opportunity to be a part of a Finance software implementation that has become the new industry standard for (Re)Insurance. As Product Owner within (Re) Insurance Accounting, you will work closely with the development squad and user representatives as well as the other product owners within the Re/Insurance Accounting Product Area. You will be leading a multidisciplinary team consisting of Accounting and Actuarial Business Experts, Business Analysts and Application Engineers. The team will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of an efficient and effective end-to-end system and process for a risk neutral ledger which will serve as the basis for the Swiss Solvency Test reporting. This includes the configuration of SAP FPSL system according to elicited requirements and potentially development of custom microservices in a JAVA extension layer.

**About you**:
Business and accounting understanding
- Firm understanding of (re)insurance accounting business requirements and ability to document and communicate them effectively to business owner(s), partners and team members
- Good understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks and respective disclosures, preferably Swiss Solvency Test
- Ability to evaluate solution options regarding their compliance with the reporting standard and business requirements and the feasibility for implementation / configuration in the SAP FPSL landscape

**System knowledge and project experience**:

- Prior experience with implementation of a sub-ledger preferred; experience with configuration of a standard accounting solution - preferably on an SAP platform (e.g. SAP Bank Analyzer, FPSL, Accounting for Insurance Contracts)
- Engaged participation in an agile project delivery setup (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospective, etc.) following a DevOps approach

**Testing**:

- Has experience with testing SAP FPSL or Bank Analyzer-based solutions
- Can formulate and document test cases to ensure specified business requirements are met
- Can effectively complete tests and reconciliations, and analyze root causes to understand why results are not as expected and follow-up on them accordingly
