Lead UX Designer, Operations

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Designing Beyond Screens**: Drive the tooling that supports how an EF tour is made and reimagine the processes and workflows that evolves how we operate as a business.
- ** Stakeholder Collaboration**: Empower stakeholders, at all levels, within the business to understand where technology can evolve the way they work and where human insight is invaluable. Support these insights with actionable research and strong storytelling.
- ** Design for all Scales**: Own the work from initial discovery down to what gets put in people's hands with equal passion and cross-functional partnership.
- ** Thoughtful Scope**: Develop in-scope solutions, understanding the impact of timeliness, feasibility, and complexity on deadlines.
- ** Adaptability**: Embrace Greenfield development and be a strong thought partner on how priorities should evolve as research and ideation show what's possible.
- ** Systems Thinking**: Design, not just for individual users and their pain-points, but for the health and efficiency of the whole digital and service ecosystem supporting how a tour gets made

**Who You Are**:

- ** Experience**: 5+ years as a UX Designer, preferably with experience in Service Design and/or Enterprise product complexity.
- ** Methodologies**:Knowledge of user-centered methodologies and design thinking.
- ** Research Skills**: Hands-on experience building a research discovery strategy and conducting user research sessions such as interviews, A/B testing, and usability testing.
- **Collaboration**: Experience working with Product Managers, Engineers, senior leadership and other stakeholders at all levels.
- ** Design Skills**: Ability to design simple, scalable experiences across a complex suite of products to create business and user value. Effectively leverages the most appropriate tools/methods and coaches others on how to select and use tools/methods
- ** Component-Based Design**: Work without UI resources, leveraging and evolving our in-house components-based design system and third-party design systems (Salesforce Lightening & Material UI).

**Ideal Skills & Expertise**:

- ** Enterprise-Level Product Experience**: Experience working on enterprise-level products.
- ** Salesforce Experience**: (Nice to have) Experience designing with Salesforce Lightening and Salesforce as a platform.
- ** Educational Background**: Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Design, or related field preferred.
- ** Motivation and Creativity**: Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to think creatively and analytically.
- ** Influence/Impact**: Leads discussions and presentations with storytelling and persuasion skills, formally and informally. Adapts communication style and methods based on audience and scenario; pivots in response to changing business needs.
- ** Visual Problem Solving**: Strong visual problem-solving skills and understanding of interactive design.

**What This Role Is Not**:

- ** Not a Visual/UI Designer**: You will have access to libraries created by our teams for visual/UI design.
- ** Not a Hand-Off Role**: This role involves following through from initial concepts to first release and beyond.
