**Assistant Manager or Manager - Fund Tax Reporting**:

- We are looking for an experienced team member who shares our passion for the taxation and tax reporting of investment funds to join our successful Financial Services Tax team and work for our well-known clients in the asset management industry.

**Your contribution to KPMG**

Analyze the taxation of Swiss and foreign investment funds and their Swiss resident investors

Plan, coordinate, and manage the annual Swiss tax reporting for foreign funds with our clients, as well as foreign KPMG member firms for international fund tax reporting mandates

Assist with calculating the taxable income for Swiss tax purposes for foreign investment funds using our KPMG tax reporting technology and publish the tax values on the rate list (“Kursliste”) of the Swiss Federal Tax Administration

Support our clients with the tax accounting of Swiss investment funds for income from underlying fund investments

Manage project-related tasks such as deadline management, controlling, risk management, and initiating process optimizations

Assist in improving the automation and digitization of tax reporting processes as an interface between the client, tax professionals and IT specialists.

Develop strong, long-lasting client relationships

**This is what makes you successful**

Bachelor's / Master's degree in economics or diploma of higher education as an accountant / fiduciary

Five or more years of professional experience at a consulting firm or in the financial services industry in the field of fund accounting / tax reporting

Strong project management and coordination skills

Strong team and client orientation

Proficient in English, good knowledge of German is an advantage

Proficient in MS Office

Independent way of working

Committed, motivated and reliable personality

The FS Tax team consists of about 25 professionals dealing with a wide range of tax advisory and tax compliance topics, e.g. fund tax reporting, tax structuring, taxation of banking products, Swiss withholding tax, Swiss stamp taxes, VAT, reclaim of foreign withholding taxes, QI/FATCA/AEoI. In your role with international exposure, you will deepen your understanding of the taxation and tax reporting of investment funds and their investors as well as the asset management industry in general.
