Group Cash Manager

The position

As a Group Cash Manager, you will be in charge of monitoring the daily Group cash management and cash forecasting. You will pro-actively analyse and propose improvements to the treasury processes. You will work closely with various functions across the Group and you will be a crucial part in VARO’s energy transformation You will report to the Group Head of Treasury Operations.

Your key responsibilities
- Monitoring Group daily cash position
- Monitoring Group cash forecasting
- Analysing intraday and actual movements versus forecasted movements
- Approving Treasury payments and Group payments
- Arranging daily cash management Swaps and monitor daily automated EOD Swaps
- Acting as key liaison person with the banks for operational activities
- Providing support on M&A related topics and further integration in the treasury processes
- Subject matter expert for E-Banking admin tasksprovement
- Cover for Group Head of Treasury Operations as team lead, cover for holidays and other absences

**Profile**:

- 10 years plus experience in Treasury
- Deep understanding of cash management processes, including banking operations and cash forecasting
- Experienced with cash forecasting systems and processes and evidence of operating and improving cash forecasting processes
- Experienced with derivatives operations, including exchange traded and bilateral derivatives (commodity and FX)
- Adaptive way of working in a changing business environment
- Pro-active and innovative
- Being an excellent team player, supporting and challenging each other
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving and creative thinking

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Fluent in English, ideally in German, too
