Caplena is an award-winning Swiss tech start-up. It is \*the\* AI tool to analyze open-ended feedback, wherever it may come from - helping customers to get from texts to real insights, with ease and in no time. Caplena's vision is to become the single place of truth for feedback, where customer-centric companies go to understand the needs, wishes and pain points of their customers. Having closed our first funding round, we're looking for curious minds who are eager to be part of the next phase of our growth and take full ownership of the design of our unique software. You will become an integral part of our hands-on & fun team (16 people) and have a big impact on our brand & product. We are fast-growing with more than 100 active customers in 15 countries across a multitude of industries including some big names like eBay, Miele and DHL. Tasks As our first dedicated designer, you will be responsible for the look and feel of our app and drive the development of our corporate identity. You will work in close collaboration with the founders and our small but talented (entirely in-house) developer team to: - Develop the fundamentals (user flows, design system etc.) of our completely revamped SaaS app ; - Make complex interfaces simple by finding creative solutions; - Enhance UX and create user-centered designs to keep our 4000+ users happy ; - Improve consistency in all design projects, bringing together what has been created in the past and what will be our future; - Bring new ideas - you'll have the opportunity to have a real impact on our product; - Participate in the roadmap of our SaaS; - Support in designing and illustrating other corporate materials (company presentations, goodies, conference booths, marketing supports etc.). **Requirements**: - 5-7 years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer, preferably in a software company; - Bachelor's degree in design, related field or equivalent practical experience; - Good understanding of modern web technologies; - GTD > Meetings; - Drive for action and getting features shipped ; - Passion for designing beautiful & useful software ; - Being able to put yourself in the shoes of users & advocating for their needs; - Solid written communication in English - German not required but a plus; - Upbeat team player. **Benefits**: - Exciting, growing product ; - Quick & inclusive decision-making; - Modern & scalable tech-stack; - Flexibility regarding tooling; - Entire technical know-how in-house (AI engine, API, Frontend, DevOps); - Driven & down-to-earth team; - Office near Opernhaus, Zurich (close to the lake, and we have great coffee) - A lot of team events; - MacBook Pro; - Full-time, flexible working hours, remote possibility; - 25 days PTO/year; - Competitive compensation & equity.
