The JJMD Supply Chain organization is recruiting for the Sourcing Optimization PMO leader role to be based in EMEA.

The JJMD organization has a diverse portfolio supporting our Global CSS, Ethicon, DePuy Synthes and Vision businesses and is committed to delivering innovative products, solutions and programs to address unmet customer and patient needs around the world.

The Director, Sourcing Optimization will be accountable and responsible for partnering with the JJMD SC Leadership Team, EMEA MD Commercial and MD Franchise teams to develop, implement, and effectively manage the E2E JJMD Sourcing Company Optimization processes, governance and tools required to translate strategy into execution and ensure successful delivery of business commitments. This position will be responsible for strategy development, program management and implementation of high priority, cross-franchise initiatives to ensure successful program outcomes and benefits realization.

This leader will have a dotted reporting line to Claudia Herben, VP Strategic Solution EMEA MD, to drive synergies between supply chain and business deliverables always, centered around our customer.

**Responsibilities**:
Strategy:

- Accountable to define and deliver project scope for GMED Sourcing simplication process, including implementation of revised financial flows, stakeholder change management and cros-functional coordination
- Responsible for effectively coordinating with interdependent cross-franchise programs/portfolios (e.g., TranSCend, Magellan, etc) to drive and manage the execution of highest-priority company initiatives
- Drive for efficient/optimal interfaces to coordinate across various teams, departments, and stakeholders throughout the company to ensure deliverable and goals are met
- Enhance and drive the connection to the JJMD Commercial Strategy to ensure smooth Customer Experience in the EMEA region through the transition
- Develop internal and external relationships to leverage strategic benchmarking, best practices and proactive transformational business models
- Identify and manage interdependencies across JJMD Sourcing Companies, EMEA MD Commercial team, Regulatory, Tax and other stakeholders to ensure information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated and that key performance indicators are monitored and evaluated
- Partner with Corporate Tax and Finance to Influence common strategies and lead the design and implementation of aligned JJMD Sourcing Company end-state, governance processes tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of subsequent projects

Performance Management:

- Lead/support the development of the applicable Goals & Objectives, Metrics and Targets annually and ensure robust performance and financial reporting of project
- Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the JJMD Sourcing Company Strategy, process, including tools, templates, scorecards, and governance and decision-making processes
- Identify key performance indicators at risk and drive accountability for the development of root cause and action plans for recovery / resolution
- Lead team, project contributors and contracted resources in an inclusive, high-performance team environment; ensure project assignments and responsibilities provide developmental experiences and opportunities for all part participants
- Influence standardized capabilities (from ideation through project execution, including portfolio reporting & analytics, project prioritization, resource management) across stakeholders

Project Management:

- Lead, facilitate and manage targeted assignments and/or projects/programs
- Policies, procedures and documentation for
- Planning, executing and controlling the project schedule
- Identifying and managing project risks
- Activities for identifying and securing the required funding and resources, managing the project team, and monitoring budget and resources
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand and meet their needs/expectations, address issues, and foster appropriate engagement
- Establish and strengthen collaborative internal relationships
