**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performs duties related to scientific research conducted in the laboratory
- Contributes to experimental study design, planning, execution, basic analysis, and results reporting. Hands-on laboratory tasks may include the following (non-exhaustive list)
- Involved in multiple scientific projects and experiments with the support of the team and team leader(s) to fulfil project goals.
- Responsible for problem-solving and the development of innovative and pragmatic solutions to scientific and technical challenges.
- Communicates well and supports of project leader and team.
- Presents scientific data internally to team members, e.g. at project team meetings

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Lab technician apprenticeship and / or at 2+ years practical experience in a comparable role in biopharma / biotech / academic setting
- Practical experience with a diverse set of mammalian bioprocessing techniques (cell monitoring, cell transfection or transduction) and analytical techniques (qPCR, dPCR, protein or particle quantification) or similar laboratory work.
- Experience in upstream or downstream processing is a plus
- Proficiency (e.g., C1 level) in both written and spoken English.
- Must be highly independent, able to work in a fast-growing and highly diverse international team and thrive in a “start-up” environment.
- Highly precise and organized with good scientific documentation and communication skills.
- Good computer skills required (MS Office, Apple hardware). Experience with electronic lab notebook (ELN), molecular biology software, data analysis software, or other laboratory software(s) is a plus.
