As Global Technical Sales Leader for ABB Ability Asset Performance Management (APM) in our Process Automation (PA) business area you will enable the global scaling of sales and services via software, hardware, and engineering services. You will be “the second person through the door” and able to confidently and convincingly show clients that ABB has the technical competence for delivering solutions regardless of size or complexity. You will work with clients in Oil, Gas, Chemical, Refining, Power, Water and Pharmaceutical vertical industry segments as they continue to move their businesses to be more efficient and sustainable.

Global Division Digital Head, PAEN
**Your responsibilities**:
- Focus sales, business development and technical teams on realizing value with ABB APM solutions
- Support, Coach or lead technical engagements throughout the sales and adoption cycle as needed and Support customer pilot activities leveraging agile principles
- Refine technical engagement processes to focus on value realization through ABB APM solutions
- Share technical and business value oriented best practices with a global APM community regarding all aspects of winning APM business both in existing and new customers
- Keep informed on the status of key APM engagements globally and coordinate pursuit support globally for key opportunities when necessary
- Work closely with field technical teams, partners and customers to identify solution gaps or differentiating capabilities and provide actionable feedback to product development teams
- Lead definition and evolution of a reference architecture implementing industry best practice and manage the evolution of that reference architecture to reflect innovation and new capabilities
- Create demonstrations proving ABB's key APM capabilities and best practices leveraging the ABB Ability suite of technologies
- Demonstrate ABB's leadership in APM design, implementation and maintenance and coach / lead pursuit teams as required for APM deals - leading when necessary
**Your background**:
- 5 years’ Experience in architecting and implementing Asset Performance Management solutions in one or more relevant industry verticals working as a plant engineer, production engineer, or production scheduler is desirable
- Sound knowledge of industry best practices in architecture design including key concepts, methodologies, and design standards.
- Experience leading or participating in sales pursuit teams to close large deals
- Experience with security operations centers functionality and software
Good practical skills preferably in several of the following: database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, other);Microsoft.NET development platform; Experience in the client-server technologies (WEB development);C#, JavaScript, HTML5;Understanding of enterprise business systems (ERP systems); Experience in the field of business intelligence (OLAP and Data Warehousing, Microsoft Reporting Services)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant experience
