For our global energy system scenarios project, we are looking for a
**Trainee***:
Global Energy Scenarios
**Your tasks**:
- Your work area is to support the development of the new long-term, technology-detailed world energy scenarios of PSI and the World Energy Council
- The central task of the internship is to collect, process and validate data about the current state of energy systems of different world regions, such that the data can be applied in PSI’s global energy systems model. Example of tasks refer to (may be adapted):
- Investigation of the electricity sector, which is central to the global energy system (e.g., what is the installed capacity and production by detailed technology types in different world regions today?)
- Pipeline and LNG transport of gas between world regions
- Current use of hydrogen and biomass/fuels in different sectors, etc.
**Your profile**:
- You study in energy science or other quantitative natural sciences (minimum 4 semesters)
- You have not yet competed your Master’s thesis
- You are highly motivated an an exactly working student
