**Amentum** is seeking a** **Food Service Admin **to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission in Andros Island, Bahamas. AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. **This position requires the individual to be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.**

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for planning, controlling and evaluating food service functions.
- Managing budget resources and evaluating inmate acceptance of food quantity and quality.
- Establishing standards of sanitation, safety & security.
- Implementing and monitoring the food safety program, as well as administering the food program that consists of a wide variety of duties which includes all specialized functions.
- Supervises food preparation, ensuring compliance with the nutritional needs and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of services provided.
- Assists in the operation of all equipment and supplies, including a large subsistence storeroom of meats and vegetable coolers.
- Assists in developing detailed estimates and initial requests for the budget required to operate the food service facility, as well as approving the expenditure of funds.
- Must requisition all food supplies and equipment for the department and keep accurate and accountable records.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of specialized food service experience in quantity cooking, food preparation, menu planning and cost control of food preparation.
- At least 2 years of experience in food service finances, completing inventory and storage procedures for food supplies & equipment and procurement of food supplies & equipment.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience supervising personnel.
- High school or equivalent.
- Knowledge of planning culinary activities.
- Knowledge of portion control.
- ** Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.**
- ** Valid U.S. passport will be required.**
- ** Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.**

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Additional finance experience is preferred.
