As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing our financial accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions. This position offers a blend of accounting tasks and personnel administration duties. **This position reports to**:
HR Business Partner

**Your responsibilities**:

- Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting
- Accounting and posting in financial accounting
- Assisting with VAT settlements, periodic financial statements and intercompany reconciliations
- Assisting in developing and implementing processes and procedures, and optimizing them to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains
- Supporting in personnel administration (entry and exit formalities, processing the time and attendance system, assisting with the payroll process and social security tasks)

**Your background**:

- Minimum of four years of experience in a comparable role
- Commercial training and preferably further training as a finance and accounting specialist or comparable further training
- Experience with monthly and annual financial statements (OR and IFRS) is an advantage
- Confident with balance sheets and proven practice in accounting
- Good Excel skills and IT user knowledge, ideally SAP experience
- A solution-focused, collaborative approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- German as native language, written and spoken English
