**Job Description**:
**Main **responsibilities include:

- Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
- Managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.

Major Areas of Responsibility
**Field Service**:

- Perform and support field testing and installations,
- Support certification engineer through on-going compliance testing,
- Identification and mitigation of risks within development and design process,
- Interact with Firmware and Mechanical Engineers,
- Interact with external partners,
- Respond quickly to customer problems
- Advise customers on the equipment
- Provide customer on-site installation training on both IoT gateways and sensors along with that at times extensive travel could be required.
- Analyzing POC sensor data using our frontend and command line interfaces for multiple clients to monitor performance of sensors in the field or in a testing environment
**Customer Support**:

- Management of internal service desk and ticketing resolution, including error reports from customers and internal issues,
- Continuously improve guidelines and working instructions to further advance the overall quality of activities in cooperation with the Customer Success Manager. Manage follow up to completion of support tickets, including coordination and scheduling of meetings with required internal and external personnel to revolve the error and report back to customers,

**Qualifications**:

- Electronics or mechanical technician, or other relevant (equivalent) experience,
- Competency operating mechanical tools, such as drills, drill bits, compressor powered tools, saws, etc.,
- Familiar with transportation of commodities by rail and/or cargo containers,
- Experiences with Jira / Atlassian product suite is of advantage,
- Hands on approach with strong technical understanding,
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision, with excellent time management skills and task prioritisation,
- Resourceful and disciplined personality, with attention to detail and focus
- Excellent communication skills,
- Ability to engage with different audiences, both externally and internally,
- Appreciation for “start-up” culture, all hands-on deck approach,
- Able to travel within Europe up to 50% time, according to project requirements and location.
