**Group Leader GMP/GDP**:
In support of Bachem’s continuous growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Leader GMP/GDP. In this role within the Quality Assurance-Regulatory Affairs (QA-RA) Department you will be responsible for developing the team and providing GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Distribution Practices) support to the Quality Control and Supply Chain Management Departments.
This position will report to the Director, Quality II and interact with several other manufacturing, quality and regulatory functions within the organization and at our customers. This role holds responsibility for critical GDP duties as delegated by the Responsible Person for GDP.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Leadership and development of the team. Distribute workload, provide performance feedback and coach team members
- Perform and oversee review of distribution documentation for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), evaluate transport temperature excursions based on extensive knowledge on product stability
- Ensure that quality of the APIs is guaranteed throughout the distribution chain within the responsibility of the company, including traceability of distribution documentation
- Ensure that APIs are supplied and traded according to Good Distribution Practices in delegation of Responsible Person for GDP
- Perform and oversee document review and QA approval of analytical method validations/transfers and stability studies. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory guidance documents
- Review and approve OOX investigations on stability related testing
- Represent the team during customer audits and regulatory inspections
- Participate in cross-functional projects
**Skills and Experience**:
- Master Degree in chemistry, pharmacy or related discipline with deep understanding of quality control and wholesale distribution operations
- 5+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical companies, preferably in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and/or Manufacturing
- Proficient in GMPs, GDPs and EMA, FDA pharmaceutical regulations
- Demonstrated technical expertise in resolution of deviations and development of effective CAPA
- Leadership skills and people management experience
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to details where required
- Able to rapidly adapt to changing environment and circumstances requiring flexibility and sense of urgency while assuring that all GMP and GDP requirements are met
- Fluency in German (spoken and written), excellent verbal and written skills in English
