System Adoption Manager

The System Adoption Manager role is a role where you will be responsible for driving engagement with and adoption of Technology Systems that help EF with its Schools’ Operations.

You are expected to communicate with and listen to staff working in EF Schools around the World and identify ways and methods in which the increased or optimal use of technology systems running in the school can increase efficiency of our staff and provide value to EF students studying in those schools. This role will require you to collaborate with staff in different departments of EF Schools, such as Academics, Activities, Accommodation, and Student Services and with technology teams located in Budapest, Hungary and Bengaluru, India, who will be responsible for changes in the technology system.

The role may also require you to write and provide specifications for changes to be made in the system and be responsible for coordinating training and documenting training manuals and release notes for the users of these systems.

You may also be required to coordinate engagement activities and communication with a focus group of users and develop this group to be Ambassadors of these systems.

Being effective in this role will require you to develop expertise and knowledge in the features and functionality of the various technology systems and come to be known as an expert in these systems.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide Support (online or in-person) for users of our technology systems in EF Language Campuses and schools around the World
- Simple troubleshooting of errors in the system, in case of emergencies, especially during peak periods of usage, such as in summer
- Facilitate brainstorms and working sessions with teams working in different functions in different schools to get feedback about the system and ascertain scope and need of further development
- Coordinate with the product owner and engineering team of our systems to stay up-to-date with the latest releases and upcoming features in our technology systems. Identify relevant information related to these updates to communicate to our users through regular release notes or Newsletters
- Help in the testing and validation of features being developed by our
- Together with operations teams in schools, actively work towards identifying gaps in system knowledge among school staff that use the system. Come up with systematic and regular training schedule and step-by-step manuals that can be regularly referred to by school staff
- Create, manage and run online training sessions on features of our technology systems
- Manage engagement with a focus group of users / ‘Ambassadors’ to provide insights into key features and updates and get feedback on usability and user experience from our systems
- Serve as an advocate or evangelist for how development and technology can enhance the experience for our campus teams and students and help reduce the manual effort and administration required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A charismatic team player, with prior support experience preferred
- Extensive experience working in school and campus environments, specifically with school and campus technology systems
- Prior experience or exposure to technology and awareness of the development process; awareness of or familiarity with Scrum methodology preferred
- Technology background not essential but strong technology affinity preferred
- Excellent written and oral skills to communicate clearly and effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Work and cultural experience in multiple geographies, preferably in different continents, to simulate the experience of working with EF Schools around the World
- Prior work experience in the Education industry with knowledge about academic practices, student accommodation or activities
