Akselos software allows full life-cycle management of wind turbines, from design through commissioning, operation, late life extension and dismantlement. It is the first integrated platform for engineers, contractors and operators. Akselos proposes to set the same dynamic for the wind industry that Electronic Design Automation enabled for the silicon industry. A mechanical engineering simulation software based on a radically powerful technology that streamlines innovation and accelerates Offshore Wind to the energy transition tipping point.
The Wind Projects Manager will play a leading role in the set-up and deployment of structural assessment and monitoring systems for offshore Wind Turbine structures. Projects/services deployment is expected to be focused on but not limited to the EU zone.
Reporting to the VP of Digitization services, the Wind Projects Manager will manage a range of varied structural digital twin deployments over the design and operations stages. This is a multi-disciplinary role, between software deployment and energy delivery processes requiring coordination between operators and technical authorities (such as class associations) along with the Akselos technical teams such as the HCM-based engineering services and US-centric CoreTech software development.
This role is based in the UK, Switzerland, or Southern Europe to be in close proximity to the majority of Wind energy actors.
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- As coordinator will lead the services delivery for the digitization of wind assets and build of structural digital twins from the point of opportunity identification/qualification, through implementation, delivery, and handover to the customer and Akselos customer support.
- Help the Sales teams by supporting customer engagements from an early stage of the Sales process (from opportunity qualification).
- Formulation of technical solutions and implementation plans for the structural digital twin projects
- Solution Support the Sales teams in the writing of proposals / RFQ for structural digital twins of wind turbine structures.
- Demonstrate a complete technical understanding of the simulation engineering process for the build of a structural digital twin.
- Mentor and help the development of the HCM engineers to perform the digitization services for wind solutions to an international standard.
- Work with the Akselos service and technical teams to develop structural health monitoring for wind structures deployments into operations.
- Customer relations: Cements business relationships at all levels with target customers, building trust and confidence in Akselos’ ability to deliver technology and service that offers solutions, value, and service excellence.
- Acquire and continue to develop a comprehensive understanding of Akselos’ range of technology and capabilities and convey to customers any new developments which promote the company’s Wind quality solutions and top-class service and performance.

- Project and services support and delivery for offshore floating and fixed structures in Wind Energy:
- Accountable for the overall delivery of the wind services solution/project within the Akselos Services Delivery Framework (ASDF).
- Organise and lead technical workshops required for the delivery of the services components of the identified scope(s).
- Stakeholder management for the delivery of the structural digital twin with all key players including, Customers, SME’s, Sales teams with the HCM-based engineering services team.
- Track and control the digitization services progress with the HCM engineering services teams, technical partners and SME’s
- Set-up, Coordinate and lead regular services delivery meetings and help prepare timely status updates for the customer
- Coordination and Verification of all deliverables, outputs, reports and associated products with the support of engineering services and core technology teams
- Hand-over to the support and customer success functions of the final project to ensure smooth transition to operations
- Run look-backs and lessons learned once the project has been completed
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Services Delivery Framework by recommending improvements, new tools and methods
- Help the Sales teams by supporting customer engagements from an early stage of the Sales process (from opportunity qualification) through to delivery:
- Clarification of scope for each new project in line with Akselos Services Delivery Framework (ASDF)
- Help the customer and sale
