The internship in BIM modeling at Axpo Grid offers an exciting opportunity to engage with modern technologies in the energy industry. BIM modeling involves the creation of 3D models with information from laser scans. These models serve as valuable foundations for efficient construction, whether in planning, renovation, construction progress monitoring, or documentation.
**Tasks**:
- 3D Model standard components of substations, batteries and powerlines from laser scans and other sources.
- Integrate information in the BIM models related to constructive and operation quantities.
- Support our BIM Modelling team on modelling complete substations, batteries and powerlines.
- Implement your own scripts and automations to make the process more efficient.
**Skills**:
- Background in civil engineering, architecture, geodesy, or related disciplines.
- Coursing your last semester or have recently graduated from a masters in BIM.
- Strong skills in Autodesk Revit and Dynamo.
- Knowledge of/Past use of a laser scanner technology is advantageous.
- Teamwork, initiative, and analytical thinking.
- You can communicate strongly either in English or German.
- You have a valid working pass to work in the EU/CH.
