Marsh Zürich is looking for a **Broker (m/w/d)**

Bowring Marsh is the dedicated international placement team for Marsh. We are seeking reliable, motivated and creative people to join our dynamic placement team in Zürich. Jobholder would be responsible for placing and managing a portfolio of North American property placements in the Swiss/European insurance market.

**We will count on you to**:

- Managing more complex medium to large North American property accounts / transactions with regular client contact
- Negotiating coverage terms, conditions and price with insurance companies
- Developing strong working relationships with Swiss/European property underwriters and contributing to assigned market relationship management activities
- Managing small to medium sized strategic North American client relationships and their interaction with Swiss/European insurance carriers
- Providing advice and technical support to US and Canadian retail/producing offices regarding Swiss/European insurance environment and specific capabilities of individual markets
- Developing new, North American property business opportunities in conjunction with US & Canadian retail/producing offices
- Conducting marketing trips to the US and Canada in order to communicate office value proposition and meet with current and prospect clients
- Overseeing post placement activities conducted by Associate Brokers, including execution of binding documents, policy wording, endorsements and billings
- Assisting Management in the completion of monthly and quarterly management reports

- Mentors and encourages Associate Brokers and Brokers (D)

**Qualifications**:

- Commercial apprenticipship or equivalent education
- English (advanced)
- 5-7 years insurance industry experience, preferably in the North American Property space (one of our clients in the risk management or another broker or (re-) insurance company)
