**Scientific Data Curator (W/M)**:
**Your mission**:
The aim of the EPFL Blue Brain Project (BBP), a Swiss brain research initiative founded and directed by Professor Henry Markram, is to establish simulation neuroscience as a complementary approach alongside experimental, theoretical and clinical neuroscience to understanding the brain, by building the world’s first biologically detailed digital reconstructions and simulations of the mouse brain.

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:

- Collect, analyse, interpret and summarize information from peer reviewed scientific journals.
- Curation research data from public data repositories and published scientific articles.
- Documentation of data curation, integration and release process
- Storing curated data in a structured format or in knowledge graph

**Your profile**:
**Required qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent in the field of biology
- Ability to understand scientific literature, experimental procedures and their limitations
- Strong written and oral English communication skills
A passion for reading and analysing scientific literature
- Self-driven, ability to work independently
**Nice to have**:

- Background in neuroscience
- Knowledge of programming languages (MATLAB, Python, C/C++)
- Knowledge of web programming (HTML, Java Script, Ruby on Rails)
- Knowledge of ontologies and controlled vocabulary
