**Project** : For our client, we are seeking a professional ICT systems administrator. The role will involve ensuring the operational operation of ICT services and networked systems, efficiently troubleshooting disruptions, and guaranteeing information security in accordance with agreed service levels. The goal is to maintain the high level of availability, stability, and security of ICT services and to provide optimal support to users and departments in their day-to-day operations. **The existing team currently consists primarily of service managers and will now be supplemented by a technically experienced system administrator, as the systems department is currently being rebuilt. We are seeking a Windows systems specialist, ideally with in-depth knowledge of Exchange and Workplace topics.**

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Operating, controlling, monitoring and maintaining ICT services in operational operations
- Localize, isolate and resolve faults
- Initiating evasion and escalation procedures
- Triggering recovery, restart and restore procedures
- Implementing new or modified software
- Controlling and monitoring the utilization of networked systems
- Carrying out or initiating tuning and performance measures
- Ensuring information security according to SLAs and security profiles
- Performing or monitoring data backups
- Maintaining documentation (operational processes, change planning, error analysis)

**Requirements**:

- Completed vocational training or high school diploma (basic) in the ICT sector
- 3-5 years of practical experience as a system administrator in a Windows environment
- In-depth knowledge of Exchange and Workplace topics
- Experience in operating, monitoring and maintaining ICT services
- Knowledge of incident and escalation management (including recovery and restore procedures)
- Familiar with performance monitoring and tuning of networked systems
- Basic knowledge of information security and data backup
- Practical experience in documenting processes and analyses
- Communication and teamwork skills when dealing with users and partners
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working
