In our idyllic site in Visp, we are looking for a Scientist to join a Quality Control Team In this role you will focus on coordinating the Environmental Monitoring in Clean-rooms and Clean Utilities Systems for a team of sample takers. This includes setting up sampling plans, contributing to qualification of areas and systems, keep analytical test methods (Physical, Chemical and Microbiological) and sampling procedures up to date. **What you’ll do**:

- Ensure a compliant and efficient sampling plan for environmental monitoring together with the sampling team, production and quality control
- Collaborate with Quality Control labs on which analytical test need to be performed (microbiology and physico chemical analysis)
- Collect and summarizes interdependent and complex data in MODA and LIMS, interpret data using various data analysis software and reviews conclusions. Control quarterly/yearly trend reports, create presentations and present findings/updates at internal meetings
- Documentation of GMP related activities, investigation of OOS, deviations and preventive actions in responsible field and trouble-shooting via TrackWise system. Creation, review, and approval of DMS documents in the relevant field. Implementation of general QC monitoring changes and MODA change management
- Continuous improvement of QC monitoring processes
- Representation of the team and participation in inspections and customer visits/audits. Establish appropriate communication of QC monitoring topics between collaborators
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and recognized local and international standards such as ISO and cGMP

**What we’re looking for**:

- University degree or equivalent experience (PhD/master/bachelor) in biology, microbiology or similar field
- Experience in the GMP controlled environment is a plus and Microbiology background is a plus
- During phases of high workload you are able to prioritize and work in a structured manner. You can communicate in a clear, succinct and professional manner with the various different business partners. You offer support to your team when needed and proactively add to a positive team spirit.
- Business fluent in English and communication skills in German (minimum B2 level)
- Ready for on call duty (approximately once per month, on call duty lasts for 1 week)
