About the role

Reporting into the Technical Accounting Team Leader, the primary purpose of the role is to manage reinsurance portfolios for assigned broker as well as cedant business.

**Responsibilities**:
Actively manage assigned European reinsurance portfolios for assigned broker and cedant business

Check and record technical accounts and payments in reinsurance administration system and GL

Check and capture new claims, and update in line with contractual terms and conditions

Monitor and manage reinsurance payables and receivables for assigned portfolios (in collaboration with Credit Control)

Active communication with brokers and cedants

Close cooperation and information exchange with Underwriting, Claims and Finance

Carry out various periodic controls and reporting tasks

Actively participate in various internal projects

Electronic archiving of all accounts and documents (if applicable)

Special Tasks as assigned by the teamleader or colleagues

**Profile**:
You bring 3 to 5 years of experience in reinsurance technical accounting in a similar role

You can state to have very good IT knowledge (Excel, Word, etc.) and a flair for IT systems integration and development

You are smart, consider yourself with excellent analytical skills and in-depth experience in reporting

You have good communication skills, a hands-on working style; team spirit, proactivity and flexibility

You are able to work independently and under pressure

You are said to be an open-minded positive personality with a keen interest to work in a hands-on international team

Proficiency in German (preferably as mother tongue) and in English, both written and spoken; any additional language would be an asset
