Traffic Operator Steel Scrap

**Responsibilities**:

- Execution of trade once the commercial terms are agreed by traders with our counterparties which will involve
- Draft purchase and sales contracts
- Execute and manage contracts including preparation of documentary instructions as per sales and purchase contracts and letters of credit. Forwarding the instructions to related parties, appointing surveyors, following-up cargo and services' documents and providing final approvals for the issuance.
- Process documentation and complying with all requirements as listed under letters of credit and transport documentation and all aspects of executing commodity transactions.
- Coordinate operations with Chartering and warehouse on all aspects.
- Vessel nominations.
- Follow-up loading and discharging of cargoes as well as coordinate for inspection services.
- Managing all documentary presentations and ensuring that each transaction file is complete.
- Supporting on operational matters related to trade finance processes (negotiation of Letters of Credit, Documentary submission/collection, liaising with trade finance banks for rates, line capacity, discounting rates etc.)
- Claim calculations with customers including laytime
- Responsible for reports generation in the above areas
- Minimum 2 years of Traffic operations /relevant work experience in commodity trading companies, preferably metal trading.
- Possess good knowledge of Incoterms/LC and
- Working knowledge of shipping documents, BL / Invoice / PL / COO / COA / insurance etc.
- Good knowledge of laytime calculations
