**Your role and responsibilities**:
As part of our commitment to sustainability and in response to the evolving global reporting landscape and requirements, we are hiring a Sustainability Reporting Manager. Our aim is to establish and implement robust sustainability reporting aligned with the sustainability reporting strategy, regulatory requirements, and sustainability initiatives. In this critical role, you will drive strong stakeholder management and ensure comprehensive integration of sustainability topics into broader reporting and performance management practices. Your collaboration with the global corporate functions and business areas will be essential in achieving these goals, adhering to best practices, and adapting to evolving standards. You will report to the Head of Sustainability Reporting and ideally be based in Zurich, Switzerland. Responsibilities include: - Follow and evaluate changes in existing and emerging sustainability reporting regulations and standards (such as CSRD, sector-agnostic and sector-specific ESRS, EU Taxonomy, sector-specific ESRS, IFRS, SASB). - Follow developments in respective industry practice and formulate proposals for implementation based on them. - Formulate inputs for consultations and further dialogue with regulatory bodies. - Developing and implementing relevant awareness measures, including eLearnings, to ensure all ABB employees have access to relevant sustainability reporting trainings. - Execute on annual and quarterly sustainability disclosure requirements, including regulatory requirements and standards to which ABB committed. In particular, actively support ESRS and EU Taxonomy disclosures. - Work efficiently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and third parties to execute on disclosure requirements. - Support implementation of sustainability reporting tools. - Manage external assurance of relevant sustainability disclosures.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- University level education in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial reporting ideally with significant 'Big 4' experience auditing or exposure to sustainability reporting.
- Proven understanding of the sustainability reporting landscape, preferably including CSRD / ESRS.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and use a structured approach to problem solving.
- Strong finance acumen and process thinking.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to influence stakeholder at various levels and create appetite for simplifications and willingness to change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to summarize and visualize with PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to comfortably work across teams of different cultures and time zones.
- Proficiency in English, both in verbal and written communication.
