has grown over its 36-year history to include all-inclusive escorted tours; two award-winning river cruise lines - Scenic and Emerald Cruises; and in 2019, the World’s First Discovery Yacht - Scenic Eclipse.
We are currently looking for an independent and team-oriented personality for the position as
**Accountant (M/F) 100%**
**_ Responsibilities_**
- _ Accounts payable (incl. overhead T&E)_
- Accounts receivable
- Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation tasks
- Cost controlling and margin analysis
- Accruals and month end closing works
- VAT declarations for various countries
- Ad-hoc inquiries and projects
**Experience and Qualifications**
- _ A completed degree in accounting and/or commercial degree_
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting positions
- Experienced working in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment
- Used to work in global teams
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in SAGE300 and/or Oracle NetSuite is a plus
- Fluent in English and German (other languages are a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willing to take ownership, hands-on, persistent, meet deadlines, team-oriented personality
