This position can be based in either St Gallen, Switzerland or in Cyprus.

As our **IFRS Reporting Manager**, you will collaborate with internal departments and external auditors, manage reporting timelines, and ensure adherence to regulatory and corporate policies. A key focus of your role is to maintain the integrity of financial data and support the Company in understanding the implications of IFRS on business decisions.

**What you’ll do**:
**IFRS Reporting**
- Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting across all entities and business units.
- Manage the external audit process and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.

**Technical Accounting**
- Monitor changes to IFRS standards and assess their impact on Geoquip’s reporting.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and business leaders.
- Maintain and develop IFRS accounting policies and documentation.

**Internal Controls & Compliance**
- Strengthen internal control processes related to financial reporting.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.

**Stakeholder Communication**
- Work closely with the Head of Controlling, CFO, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial reports.
- Support internal teams with ad hoc financial analysis and IFRS-related queries.

**Process Improvement**
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of the financial reporting process.
- Collaborate with the finance systems team to optimise reporting tools.

**Who We’re Looking For**:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential—an advanced degree (Master’s) is a strong plus.
- **A proven track record in a post-qualification role with a strong focus on IFRS reporting.**:

- **Hands-on experience with IFRS, financial consolidation, systems, and leading reporting tools.**:

- Exposure to working in multinational environments or with international clients through top-tier audit firms is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing financial statements and managing end-to-end audit processes.
- A natural problem solver with sharp analytical thinking and exceptional communication skills.
- Proven ability to juggle competing priorities, manage tight deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
- Prior experience in offshore, maritime, or engineering services sectors would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with private equity-backed environments and the unique reporting requirements they entail is a bonus.
- Comfortable operating in complex multinational group structures, including managing cross-border intercompany transactions.
