Basel, Schweiz Novo Nordisk Vollzeit

Are you looking for the opportunity to improve patients’ lives and leave your footprint? Do you have experience in Sales and customer engagement in a therapy area that requires a high level of scientific interaction that is matched with your own curiosity and enthusiasm to build new relationships at a multinational level and across regions?

You welcome the opportunity to now work across functions at a global, regional and country level with an aim to drive strategy to execution? If yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you as a Commercial Director, Ultra-Rare Disease in International Operations - based in Zurich, Switzerland.

**The **P** **osition**

In this newly created position, the Commercial Director, Ultra-Rare Disease will drive the strategic business development and build a solid go-to-market approach and commercial execution plan in the disease area of primary hyperoxaluria (PH) with the pre-launch and launch of our rare renal asset across IO.

Acting in a layer between the global team and the countries, you will ensure that medical and business insights which are collected from regions and affiliates related to primary hyperoxaluria are fed back to the global commercial and medical teams and will ensure that input is well represented in global development, commercialisation decisions and marketing/access strategies. You will also work together with medical colleagues to provide input to data generation initiatives across levels, fitting within medical, access and commercial priorities.

Following the acquisition of a US based pharmaceutical company, new competencies and capabilities within both primary hyperoxaluria as well as future Rare Disease therapy areas must be developed within the Commercial, Access, Strategy (CAS) function. It is expected that you will define an outline for onboarding programmes, competency development programmes and facilitate a culture of best practice sharing across the organisation.

You will lead in the development and execution of commercial tactics and initiatives, targeting regions and countries across IO in support of promotional messaging for our rare renal asset.

Activities will include the mapping of patient journeys, diagnosis and therapeutic patterns, the creation of a key account management approach that is optimized for an ultra-rare disease customer audience as well as establishing relationships with key external thought leaders and independently driving interactions with Health Care Professionals (HCPs).
