Wie entsteht Leben aus Molekülen und Zellen? Diese zentrale Frage treibt uns an. Mit Neugier und Leidenschaft erforschen wir das ganze Spektrum - vom Atom bis zum Organismus. Das Biozentrum der Universität Basel ist eines der weltweit führenden Institute für Life Sciences. Mit 32 Gruppen und rund 500 Mitarbeitenden sind wir eine dynamische und internationale Forschungscommunity, die zahlreiche grundlegende Entdeckungen in Biologie und Medizin sowie mehrere Nobelpreisträger hervorgebracht hat. Werde Teil unserer Community Das PhD Student Office berät und unterstützt die Studierenden aus der ganzen Welt in allen Belangen des Internationalen PhD-Programms. Zusätzlich organisiert das PhD Office die PhD Fellowship Ausschreibungen von A-Z in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Professoren des Biozentrums. Wir suchen eine kommunikative und kundenorientierte Persönlichkeit, welche Freude am Kontakt mit jungen Menschen aus der ganzen Welt hat.
**Ihre Aufgaben**
In dieser abwechslungsreichen und spannenden Tätigkeit organisieren Sie selbständig die Biozentrum PhD Fellowship Interviewwochen, von der Ausschreibung bis zu den Social Events und Abendveranstaltungen. Ausserdem unterstützen Sie das PhD-Office bei der Beratung von PhD Studierenden, Organisation von On
- und Offboard Meetings und weiteren administrativen Arbeiten.
**Ihr Profil**
Sie verfügen über eine kaufmännische Ausbildung und mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung idealerweise im Hochschulbereich. Nebst stilsicherem Ausdruck in Wort und Schrift, sowohl in Englisch als auch in Deutsch, erwarten wir hohe Kompetenz im Umgang mit modernen Kommunikationsmitteln sowie einen sicheren Umgang mit Office Software. Sie sind sehr kommunikativ, arbeiten gerne im Team und haben Freude daran Gastgeber zu sein und am Umgang mit Menschen aus der ganzen Welt? Sie zeichnen sich durch Ihre exakte, gut organisierte und vorausschauende Arbeitsweise aus und lieben es, neue Herausforderungen zu meistern? Es fällt Ihnen leicht, komplexe Zusammenhänge zu verstehen und auch in hektischen Situationen den Überblick zu bewahren und Verantwortung zu übernehmen? Dann sind Sie die Person, die wir suchen.
