**Working as a Data Privacy Consultant**:
In order to support the growth of the GRC (Governance, Risks and Compliance) team and its services, Orange Cyberdefense Switzerland (formerly SCRT SA) is looking for a “Data Privacy Consultant” or “Data Protection Consultant”.
Working in collaboration with other members of the GRC team, the data protection consultant will be in charge of delivering varied missions in the field of personal data protection with the objectives of improving the protection of our clients' data, the development of a culture around “Data Privacy” and customer satisfaction in the support we offer them on the multiple aspects of data protection.
**Main responsibilities**
- Develop and implement data protection compliance strategies and plans in line with the context, objectives and obligations of clients
- Perform data protection compliance assessments (gap analysis, maturity analysis, risk analysis, audit)
- Develop and maintain data protection policies, standards and procedures (Privacy center, procedure for managing access requests, modification and deletion of personal data, data policy, etc.)
- Provide support in the management of cross-functional projects involving data protection and information security aspects
- Create and deliver awareness-raising and data protection training adapted to the context of customers and/or the audience considered (company managers and decision-makers, project teams, technical teams, etc.)
- Assist the sales team in pre-sales activities as a GRC expert
- Contribute to the development of GRC services
- Carry out legal monitoring of data protection at Swiss and European level
**What we expect of you**:
- In-depth knowledge in the field of data protection at the Swiss level (LPD, cantonal rights) and European level (GDPR/GDPR)
- Practical experience in implementing data protection compliance programs, in data protection training and awareness, in supporting public and private organizations on issues related to data protection, in maturity analysis and risk analysis in data protection (gap analysis, audit)
- Good ability to analyze and synthesize information with a rigorous approach to issues, to adapt quickly in heterogeneous contexts and provide relevant responses to clients in varied and demanding contexts
- Knowledge of normative frameworks in information security and data protection (ISO27001, ISO27701, ENISA, NIST, etc.) and a good understanding of cybersecurity
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills both internally within the team and with clients at all levels (management, technical teams, non-specialized audience, auditors, etc.)
- Oriented on results and the best ways to achieve them, keeping customer satisfaction in mind
Studies and experience required:
- A university degree in law (MLaw), preferably with a specialization in IT law (data protection, information security, etc.) or MAS in data protection
- Proven experience of several years in a similar position or as a DPO (Data Protection Officer)
- Experience in information security and/or audit conduct is an asset
- Information security certifications, such as Lead Auditor/Implementor ISO 27001, CISA or CISM are an asset
- Fluency in French (main working language) and English (spoken and written) is essential to ensure the conduct of missions in both languages
