On behalf of our client, an international Energy Supplying and Engineering company with its corporate office in Zug, we are looking for a qualified

Legal Counsel

Main Purpose

Within the Compliance division of the company and reporting to the General Counsel, the Legal Counsel will providing legal advice and legal support on general and strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Handling and supporting every day legal questions with a particular focus on contract law and public law
- Implementing and maintaining internal processes and policies for safeguarding the company purpose
- Monitoring changes in pertinent areas of legislation applicable to the company
- Ensuring proper filing and record management of all relevant documents
- Providing support on permitting matters

Key Qualifications
- Swiss law degree (Master of Law) with solid legal knowledge
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Working experience in an international company and /or international law company
- Very interested in deepening legal knowledge and experience in an international company
- Experience in corporate and commercial law (preferably also European law)
- Fluent English and German
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to deal with different cultures and authorities
- Ability to work well under pressure and to deal with unexpected situations
