We are looking for Accountant to join our finance team in Regensdorf, Switzerland. In this role, you will support our accounting operations by assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the accuracy of our financial records. The team is responsible for the financial statements of our entities in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, UK, the Netherlands, France, and Spain.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist and manage the preparation of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing cycle for financial accounting, ensuring all supporting documentation is timely, accurate and complete in compliance with US GAAP, and Veralto Finance policies and principles
- Support accounts payable and receivable tasks, including VAT topics and payment processes
- Perform monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts for SOX, US GAAP and ensure the compliance policy is followed in all transactions and tasks
- Maintain financial records and documentation for internal and external audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, order entry, and global finance, to gather relevant data and insights.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting or similar/equivalent
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Usage
- English and German, with Italian language skills to B1-B2 are mandatory
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with an international team
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

**Preferred**:

- Familiarity with US GAAP SOX
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Experience with Oracle
